International to Domestic Transfer:

Upon arrival at Auckland International Airport, all passengers must clear Customs and Immigration. Luggage must then be collected and rechecked to the passenger's final destination at the Domestic baggage transfer desk. Passengers can then board the complimentary bus outside the International terminal for transfer to the Domestic terminal.

Domestic to International Transfer:

Passengers arriving from other regional New Zealand destinations who are transiting through Auckland do not need to recollect their luggage at AKL airport. This will be transferred automatically and passengers can take the complimentary bus service between the Domestic and International terminals.

Christchurch:

Air New Zealand International and Domestic flights operate to/from the same terminal at Christchurch airport.
