Pacific Island Flights / Tasman
Most of our services to and from the Pacific Islands are operated with Airbus A320 and Boeing 767 aircraft.
Some Tasman services are also operated by B777 and B747 aircraft. Please refer to your GDS to confirm which aircraft type operates your route as there are variations on service between aircraft types.
Air New Zealand Domestic
We offer a pleasant, uncomplicated service on domestic New Zealand flights.
During the flight we offer passengers complimentary snacks and refreshments.
All weekday 737 and A320 flights between Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown in the mornings before 9am, and evenings between 4:30pm and 7pm are KoruHour flights. Passengers can start the day with great tasting Robert Harris plunger coffee, muesli or a muffin and a complimentary newspaper. For evening flights wine, beer and L&P are added to the beverage service and are served with a selection of Kapiti cheese, crackers and grapes or Abe's Bagel bites with Kato Hummus.^
Between 9am and 4:30pm, after 7pm, all weekend a selection of great tasting snacks will be onboard - vege crisps, sweet NZ lollies or a chocolate chip or Anzac biscuit as well as tea, coffee and water.#
For reading material, passengers will find a copy of the Air New Zealand magazine, Kia Ora, in the seat pocket
^ On flights under 45 minutes and in inclement weather there is no tea or coffee due to serving time restrictions. This also applies to the Kapiti cheese and fruit plate on evening KoruHour services. KoruHour is not available on Public Holidays or between Christmas Day and New Years Day.
# KoruHour is not available on regional services. On these services, excluding those on Beech 1900D aircraft, biscuits, tea, coffee and water are offered.
