Manchester 42 Below Punch Recipe
Everyone travelling in Air New Zealand’s premium classes get to experience 42 BELOW mixes onboard, now it’s your turn to try one at home!
Back in May this year we went along to Manchester to take local agents through a
42 BELOW Vodka University co-sponsored by California Tourism. The delicious California-inspired punch creation below was one of the bespoke mixes sampled on the night…the perfect accompaniment to a summer barbeque we reckon….give it a go!
PUNCH RECIPE
1 litre fresh lemon juice
1 litre elderflower cordial
2 litres 42BELOW vodka
2 litres dry white – we used Pinot Grigio as it's most popular in California, but you could use NZ Sav Blanc
1 litres apple juice
2 litres ginger beer
1 large bunch white grapes, washed and halved
6 peaches, sliced
Combine all except the lemon juice and ginger beer in a large punch bowl. Then just before guests arrive, combine lemon and ginger beer, with punch, and add fruit slices.
For the special touch finish with edible gold dust or spray
Serve over ice…
