Air New Zealand offers a unique situation in being the only airline to operate its own aircraft Round the World from London Heathrow to New Zealand and Australia. Out one direction, back the other.

To help you inspire some ideas, below are a few example itineraries.
London - Hong Kong - Auckland - Los Angeles - London
Edinburgh - Los Angeles - Fiji - Sydney - Queenstown - Christchurch -Auckland - Shanghai - London
Manchester - San Francisco - Rotorua - Auckland - Tokyo - Manchester
Dublin - Hong Kong - Cairns / make your own way / Melbourne - Auckland - San Francisco - Dublin

How many stopover options can you choose from?  
When travelling to New Zealand and/or Australia you can choose from 5 Asia stopover points (Hong Kong, Shanghai*,Beijing*, Osaka* or Tokyo*); 4 USA/Canada stopover points (Los Angeles, San Francisco* or Honolulu* Vancouver*) and 5 Pacific Island** stopover points (The Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji* or Tahiti*). Please refer to you GDS for full details
* Some flights operated by one of our partner airlines of Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines, Air Pacific. Dragonair or Air Tahiti Nui and Air Canada to fly to these destinations
** Up to an additional £175 per stopover on the base fare (Cook Islands stopover currently free of charge)

  • CANADA: YVR (Published fare only)
  • ASIA:HKG/SHA/TYO/OSA/BJS
  • PI:NAN/PPT/RAR/APW/TBU/HNL
  • OZ: ADL/MEL/SYD/BNE/OOL/CNS
  • NZ: AKL/WLG/CHC & 24 other regional airports*

*New Zealand Domestic Multi-stop for £50 per stop are available on certain South West Pacfic seat only and IT contracts

If you are looking for a flexible multi-stop airfare to New Zealand or Australia which offers an alternative combination of stopover destinations, then Air New Zealand’s Tiki Tour is a great option to offer your customers.

New Zealand Multi-stop

There is so much to see and do all over New Zealand from the scenic wonder of Queenstown to the cultural heritage of Rotorua and the wild west coast of Hokitika. We want to make it easier for your customers to experience all we have to offer, so we now have a fare that has many options available to suit their requirements.

New Zealand domestic multi-stop for £50 (per stop) en-route to your customers final destination in New Zealand or Australia, are available on our seat only and IT fares to South West Pacific. It can even be auto quoted in your GDS for many of the different combinations.  It also permits surface sectors if your customers choose to drive, cruise or break their itinerary and it’s already available for sale!

Just keep in mind that customers must keep going in a continous direction until they reach their turn around point(destination) before heading back again.

Fare Quote Entries

In order to fare quote any routing that fails current “Fare Selection Criteria” logic in GDS, the following override entries are available in:

SABRE:  WPANZ#C-NZ (# is cross of Lorraine) 

GALILEO:  FQOCNZ/CNZ.LONLON  

WORLDSPAN: 4P-OCNZ

AMADEUS currently does not offer “fare selection logic” override facility (manual fare build is required where applicable)
