Air New Zealand flights operate to/from Terminal 1 at London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Business Premier passengers are invited to use the newly opened Star Alliance Lounge, located airside in the International Departures Lounge, Terminal 1.
Air New Zealand departs from Terminal 1 with dedicated check-in at Zones D and E. Our premium check-in area is Zone D and our economy check-in is Zone E. To find us have a look at the map here.

Most domestic connections within the United Kingdom are operated on our behalf by bmi. Your boarding pass will show a BD (bmi) flight number. Air New Zealand/bmi codeshare services within the UK arrive and depart from Terminal 1.
International arrivals into Heathrow
Do you hold a boarding pass for and is your luggage labelled to your final UK destination?
If so, follow the
signs upon arrival at Terminal 1 to take you to Terminal 1 domestic departures. You will be required to proceed through Security and Passport Control.
Make your way to Gate 4, the bmi gate, where staff will give you directions to the departure gate for your onward flight. Customs Clearance will be at your final UK destination.
What if I have not been checked right through to my final UK destination?
If you your baggage receipt shows 'LHR', clear immigration; retrieve your checked-in baggage; clear customs and check-in for the onward flight.
